I am not going alone.
I have a company of men and women who have listened to me share the dream in my heart and have encouraged me to go. They have helped launch me on this journey like a butterfly taking flight. I am so honoured.
These people have been such blessings! They have come over to my house when I've needed a shoulder to cry on and a listening ear when I wasn't sure which end was up. Others have offered their advice and their encouragement as I made big decisions about my life and my future. They listened some more when I vacillated back and forth. This company of beautiful people reminded me that I am valuable I am special, I am needed and I am loved, when the weight of depression and confusion was at it's worse. Still more looked after my beautiful Jennydog when I took some leave from my job and then they became her new loving owners when finally I had peace about resigning. These folk have prayed for me and with me. These amazing ones have kept me sane when end of semester report cards and teaching pressures seemed never ending and bought me chocolate and flowers and cake! (because a bag of apples really wouldn't be the same!) They have come to my garage sale and given me more money for my things then necessary. These people have helped me pack up and clean my house in Central Qld. They have invited me for dinner, for lunch and even offered a place to stay when my house became someone else's pride and joy.
In Brisbane they helped me get work doing Supply Teaching and specifically asked for me when they needed a day off. They were excited to see me and screamed very loudly in the School Office just because I was there and I hadn't seen them for a long while... These people specifically told their Principal that was in Brisbane and facebooked me to see if I'd like to work. In fact, all of my relief teaching since I have been back in Brisbane has been through the generosity of friends.
They have spent an entire day helping me pack and find suitable clothes so that my outside beauty matches my inside beauty, they have bit their tongue when I have been impatient and rude and I have taken them for granted and easily forgave when I asked them to. They have offered finance, they have offered practical help they have offered themselves in so many ways.
This vanguard of people have honoured me with their words, with their prayers and with their giving. I am so humbled. Thank you doesn't seem enough but when you add Kalaghan and Shukran it helps.
Without them all and my faith in Jesus Christ I would not be here. I feel so privileged, so grateful and so overwhelmed with gratitude.
My prayer and wish for you all is that you will be blessed too.. That you'd have favour with God and man and that God would make his face shine upon you and give you His peace.
I walk onto that plane tomorrow at peace, knowing that I do not step out alone.
